SWISS UMEF was founded in 1984 in accordance with Swiss law as a private institution of higher education located in Geneva. It is accredited by the Swiss Accreditation Council, in compliance with the Higher Education Act (LEHE).
This accreditation was obtained after a thorough self-assessment and a rigorous quality evaluation by an accredited external organization. SWISS UMEF takes pride in being the first private institution in the canton of Geneva to receive federal-level accreditation as a University of Applied Sciences Institute (HES).
This achievement reflects SWISS UMEF's commitment to academic excellence and adherence to the highest standards in higher education in Switzerland.
The Swiss Accreditation Council has granted accreditation to SWISS UMEF as a University of Applied Sciences institute.
