In order to better serve students in China and Asia, SWISS UMEF established the SWISS UMEF China Centre in 2024. The academic team of the SWISS UMEF China Centre manages SWISS UMEF's degree programmes in China and Asia according to Switzerland's high-quality academic requirements. The main responsibilities of the SWISS UMEF China Centre include promoting SWISS UMEF in China and Asia, teaching management, organising student activities and establishing the SWISS UMEF alumni network, etc.

Director of the SWISS UMEF China Centre:
Ms Evelyn Zhang is a graduate of Columbia University, United States, and brings extensive senior-level management experience in higher education and executive education.

She played a pivotal role in SWISS UMEF’s entry into the Chinese market, leading the establishment of the SWISS UMEF China Centre to strategically support and engage Chinese entrepreneurs.

In her capacity as Director of the SWISS UMEF China Center, she is responsible for advancing institutional cooperation and academic exchange between Chinese and Swiss higher education systems. Under her leadership, SWISS UMEF has strengthened long-term strategic partnerships with leading Chinese universities and educational institutions, reinforcing its positioning and impact in the region.
