The commencement ceremony was held on September 6, 2014, and graduates of Bachelor and Master programmes received their diplomas. The ceremony was attended by several ambassadors, including the ambassador of the African Union, by a Swiss member of parliament and by parents and relatives of the graduating students and the university's faculty. A cocktail followed the ceremony.
