Study visit to WIPO

On May 8, 2025, a group of SWISS UMEF students, accompanied by Mr. Dimitrios Koukourdinos, Head of Student Affairs at SWISS UMEF, had the opportunity to visit the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. This visit allowed our students to gain an inside look at WIPO's crucial work in promoting and protecting intellectual property rights globally.

During the visit, the students were given a guided tour of the WIPO headquarters, followed by an engaging session led by WIPO experts.

This experience not only helped the students better understand the global significance of intellectual property but also sparked interesting discussions with professionals in the field. It was a valuable opportunity for them to acquire practical knowledge that will undoubtedly benefit them in their studies and future careers.
