SWISS UMEF Students Visit Hewlett Packard Enterprise

On May 19, 2025, a group of SWISS UMEF students had the exciting opportunity to visit Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE). As part of their course, the students explored several key areas of the company, including the private cloud server section and the trial server section.
The students gained hands-on experience, including the chance to unplug and reconnect servers, which provided them with practical knowledge of server management. They also visited the modular data center, where they learned about the innovative technologies used in modern data storage and processing.
The visit included a demonstration of the temperature control unit, showcasing how HPE maintains optimal conditions for sensitive equipment. Following that, the highlight of the visit was the IoT (Internet of Things) lab, where students witnessed live demonstrations of how IoT technologies are being implemented in the industry, offering real-world insights into the latest innovations.
