The challenges and opportunities of the covid-19 pandemic for corporate and organisational governance
La crise de la pandémie de Covid-19 a profondément affecté la communauté internationale. Les Etats, communautés et entreprises ont pris des mesures à court terme pour répondre à cette crise. Parmi ces mesures, il convient de mentionner l’adoption des mesures-barrières, dont la distanciation physique et le port du masque, ainsi que le télétravail. Au fur et à mesure que la crise s’installe dans la durée, la communauté internationale se rend à l’évidence qu’il faudra apprendre à vivre avec le Covid-19. D’où l’importance de la recherche des solutions pour l’adaptation à ce nouvel environnement.
C’est dans ce contexte et dans le cadre de la publication du numéro 1 de la Revue de la gouvernance des entreprises et des organisations que le SARCEO lance cet appel à contributions sur le thème central : “Opportunités et défis de l’après-Covid-19 pour la gouvernance des entreprises et des organisations”.
SARCEO attend de recevoir des textes innovateurs sur la gouvernance et le fonctionnement des entreprises et des organisations dans le monde d’après-Covid 19, notamment dans les domaines suivants : travail présentiel et télétravail ; élections ; organisation des réunions ; éducation ; commerce international ; tourisme ; transports internationaux ; dette internationale ; santé ; sécurité ; action humanitaire et compétitions sportives. Les articles attendus devraient contribuer à susciter un débat public et constructif sur les défis et les perspectives de la transformation des entreprises et des organisations, y compris les organisations internationales, dans le monde d’après-Covid-19. Les recherches peuvent provenir des acteurs politiques, des universitaires, enseignants-chercheurs, doctorants, des personnes affiliées aux secteurs public et privé et aux organisations non gouvernementales, ainsi que des fonctionnaires internationaux. SARCEO est particulièrement intéressé par des soumissions provenant des réseaux de recherche bien établis et effectuant des recherches orientées vers l’action ou le développement dans les domaines susmentionnés.
SARCEO accueille toutes les contributions et souhaiterait représenter une approche le plus large possible des domaines de recherche susmentionnés. Chaque soumission devrait inclure l’élément de développement et proposer des solutions concrètes en réponse aux défis liés à la pandémie de Covid-19.
Le développement humain durable requiert une approche holistique et multidimensionnelle. L’objectif principal de cet appel à contributions est de générer le plus grand nombre possible de propositions comportant des réponses pratiques et innovatrices pour l’immédiat “après-Covid-19”.
The crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic deeply affected the international community. States, communities and corporations took short term measures to answer this crisis. Among these measures, one should mention physical distancing and wearing a mask, as well as digital working. As the crisis seems to last, the international community has become conscious that it will need to learn to live with the Covid-19. Hence the importance of finding solutions to adapt to this new environment.
It is in this context and in the framework of the publication of the Number one of the Journal of governance of enterprises and organisations that SARCEO invites contributions to the central theme: ‘Opportunities and challenges of the after-Covid-19 for the governance of enterprises and organisations.’
SARCEO expects to receive innovative texts on governance and functioning of corporations in the world after Covid-19, particularly in the following fields: face-to-face teaching; elections; organization of meetings; education; international trade; tourism; international transport; international debt; health; security; humanitarian action and sports competitions. The articles expected should contribute to creating a public and constructive debate on the challenges and perspectives in the changes in corporations and organisations, including in international organisations, in the world after Covid-19. Research can originate from political actors, academics, lecturers-researchers, doctoral students, persons with links to the public and private sector as well as to non-governmental organisations and international public servants. SARCEO is particularly interested by submissions originating with well-established research networks undertaking action-oriented research or the development in the above-mentioned subjects.
SARCEO welcomes all the contributions and wishes to represent the broadest possible approach to the above-mentioned research fields. Every submission should include the development element and propose concrete solutions in answer to the challenges linked to the challenges linked to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sustainable human development requires a holistic and multidimensional approach. The main objective of this call for papers is to generate the largest possible number of proposals with practical and innovating responses for the immediate ‘after-Covid-19’.
